Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare standards.
- Manage the budget for the nursing department, including staffing and supply expenses.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve patient outcomes.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a healthcare facility with Medicare patients.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
