Universal Health Services Inc. is Hiring a Regional Manager - Facilities - Behavioral Health Near Orlando, FL

The UHS Construction Department is hiring a Regional Manager - Facilities whose primary responsibility is to implement programs, manage vendor relationships, and provide leadership and support to all facility managers in an effort to effectively and efficiently operate all UHS Properties.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and guidance to facilities to remain in compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations, Federal, State, Local laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations concerning building design, construction, remodeling, maintenance, utilities and facilities services and programs, and related building equipment. This is accomplished through facility visits and evaluations
  • Write site visit reports and other reports as required
  • Establish standards and guidelines for hospital operations, major equipment and systems use and replacement, determine long range replacement plans and assist in the implementation of these programs
  • Understand and implement corporate policy on water intrusion, mold, fire and other building emergencies. Takes the lead with facilities experiencing emergencies and acts as liaison between facility and corporate insurance department and consultant.
    Interact with Regional Project Managers to assist in project development and management and assures that projects stay within compliance guidelines
Qualifications

Technical school with 5 - 8 years' experience in Hospital Plant Operations.

  • Specific knowledge of hospital facilities engineering operations, regulatory compliance with CMS and Joint Commission Environment of Care, Life Safety and Emergency Preparedness requirements, Fire Codes, and hospital safety considerations, and environmental hazard remediation
  • Facilities project management, construction standards, MEP, punch list, DPO training, and commissioning
  • Minimum of 3 successful Joint Commission surveys
  • Able to analyze data and work with spreadsheets
  • Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) experience preferred
  • Travel 50-75%
