Texas NeuroRehab Center is a specialized treatment facility located ten minutes from downtown Austin on 67 wooded acres. We have served the Austin community for over 60-years and are proud of our history and tenured leadership team.
Today, Texas NeuroRehab Center provides complex medical and brain injury rehab for ages 13 years and older and neurobehavioral residential treatment services for children and adolescents. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents and adults facing difficult challenges.

Texas NeuroRehab Center is currently accepting applicants for a Clinical Liaison - Austin Area. Candidates for this position must be based in Austin. Candidates for this full-time position will be based in Austin, Texas. Territory will include Austin and surrounding areas, including: North Austin, Lakeway, Cedar Park and Round Rock. You will be marketing for the 22-bed Post-Acute Brain Injury Program only at Texas NeuroRehab Center located in Austin, TX. This candidate will monitor completeness of patient records to satisfy the standards established by the funding sources, and accreditation bodies. Retrieves, assembles, and conducts preliminary discharge analysis of patient medical record. Assembles discharge records and assists in daily medical records maintenance to meet Health Information Management needs of the facility.

The following are the job requirements for the Clinical Liaison:
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Minimum of three to five years' experience as a healthcare marketing representative, preferably for a Post-Acute Brain Injury Program or Acute Rehab Facility in the Austin Area. Experience in brain injury and stroke rehabilitation a plus. Able to perform clinical evaluations as requested by the Admissions Department. Clinical background a plus, but not required, can include, but not limited to: RN, LVN, SW or therapist. CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) a plus. Previous experience marketing to Workers Compensation Companies or connections within a plus. Able to travel to attend conferences as needed. Professional presence and appearance. Excellent communication (verbal and written).
EDUCATION: Preferred -college degree
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Driver's License or State issued Id.
EXPERIENCE: Healthcare marketing experience required
PHYSICAL/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to use telephone keypad. Ability to hear and speak clearly with customers and employees both face-to-face and over the telephone. Ability to effectively communicate in writing. Repetitive use of hands and vision to allow for writing, grasping, and manipulating papers. Occasional light lifting (11 - 25 pounds).
