Job Description:
· Job Title: RN-ICU-Days
· Location: Bristol, TN 37620
· Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
· Pay Rate/Salary: $70 an hour
· Shifts: Days 7am - 7pm; 36/48 schedule

Responsibilities:
· Assessment: ICU nurses continuously monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and identify any changes or deterioration in their health status.
· Medication Administration: Administering medications, including intravenous drugs, and closely monitoring their effects. This often includes titrating medications to maintain stable vital signs or to address acute changes in the patient's condition.
· Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other nurses, to develop and implement patient care plans.
· Patient Advocacy: Serving as advocates for their patients, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed and communicating with the healthcare team on behalf of the patient and their families.
· Emergency Response: Being prepared to respond rapidly to emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, or other life-threatening events, and implementing appropriate interventions to stabilize the patient.
· Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
· Wound Care: Providing specialized wound care for patients with complex wounds, including surgical incisions, pressure ulcers, or burns.
· Comfort Measures: Administering pain management techniques and providing comfort
Experience & Requirements:
· Active RN license for the state of TN is required
· Minimum one years of RN experience in ICU preferred
· Current BLS and ACLS from AHA.
· Must be fully vaccinated or valid Covid exemptions
