Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Hourly Range: $31.00 - $43.00 (based on years of experience)

Salary Range: $64,480 - $89,440 (based on 40-hour work week)

Shift Type: Nights

Shift Notes:

• 12-hour nights
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• Permanent position

Position Summary: Join our team to provide professional nursing care within the assigned department. Coordinate care planning with other disciplines, meeting the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. Determine care priorities based on patient needs and communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in status and diagnostic results.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments on all patients
• Manage pain effectively and educate patients and families on pain management
• Revise and evaluate care plans based on patient response
• Administer medications safely and educate patients on medication use
• Formulate individualized teaching plans and provide patient education
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide technical services as needed
• Monitor cardiac status and interpret results according to protocol
• Provide care for patients with nutritional/metabolic needs and fluid/electrolyte management
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and other departments, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and ability to function under stress

Additional Requirements:

• Prefer rural experience due to the small unit/facility
• Must work independently and be able to adapt quickly
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color

• High proficiency in both ED and MS/PCU required
• Experience with MS, ED, and PCU/MS required
• Previous travel experience required
• Rural/small facility experience highly preferred

• ACLS required, PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire
