UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital is a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience.

• Flexible work schedule-no weekends, holidays, or call
• Join collegial team; with well-trained support staff
• Work with specialty trained wound care NP and Nurse
• Future expansion of wound care program
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

• Our Providers treat high acuity wounds of varying etiologies and complexities
• Apply clinical knowledge to improved patient outcomes and rapid wound resolution, Ostomy care, and skin checks
• Average patient per day 10-15
• Driving required in Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Waverly area
• Will be trained and certified in common treatments including diabetic wounds, ulcers, infections, Ostomy care, and venous insufficiencies.

• Nurse Practitioner with wound & ostomy experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of State
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
