UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital is a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience.

• Experienced team of 4 NPs and a inpatient Medical Director
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical
• Weekend package with 2 provider coverage
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

• 21 bed inpatient unit with 2 providers on each shift seeing 9-12 patients per 12-hour shift
• Adult only unit (ages 17 and up)
• Call schedule requirement; Must be able to respond to Allen Hospital within 3o minutes of receiving the call.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

• Certified Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner
• Strong preference for candidates with inpatient mental health experience as RN or NP
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary
• Eligible to work in the United States
