Technologist operates and maintains specialized ultrasound equipment for use in performing ultrasound procedures that required independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Consistently utilizing a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria) appropriate for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients served in the assigned service area.

High School diploma or equivalent. Certification in either Echocardiography or Vascular Technology through the ARDMS or CCI. 6 months of hospital/ clinical experience in the area of cardiovascular sonography.

• Current certification in either Echocardiography or Vascular Technology through the ARDMS or CCI.
• Expectation of future cross-training into Echo or Vascular ultrasound.
• Certification for 2^nd modality must be attained within two years from the start date of cross-training.
• Expectation of future cross-training into Echo or Vascular ultrasound.
