UnityTec is seeking a Program/Project Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and the Knowledge Management Office (KMO)professional support services in following areas: SharePoint Support, technical and legal support, knowledge management support, program/project support and executive admin support services.

Duties Include but are not limited to -

• Responsible for assisting the Office of Enterprise Services (OES) Front Office in their management and oversight of the OES Divisions and their respective projects.
• Work across multiple projects to highlight, identify and build on interdependencies with OES Work with the OES leadership to assist their management of individual projects.
• Assist in the facilitation of communication between cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Division Directors to ensure that programs/projects align with OES overall strategy and management plan.
• Work with OES Leadership to develop a robust communications plan to deliver, monitor and manage internal and external communications.
• Develop and manage complex programs and projects from initiation to completion
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, risks, and recommendations
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management)
• Proven experience as a Senior Program Manager or similar role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Proficiency in project management software SharePoint and Microsoft Project
• Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g., Project Server)
• Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
• PMP Certification strongly preferred
• DoD Secret and active clearance strongly preferred
• Department of Homeland Security Program/Project Management strongly preferred
• Experience with the Commercialization Acceleration Program (CAP) at DHS preferred
