General Description / Language to Use for Job Postings:

Our manufacturing company is seeking a Lathe Operator that is capable of working in a high pace environment. In this role, you will be working in our production line turning down raw material to meet customer specification. You will be required to learn how to read certain measuring tools to meet the blueprints.

Responsibilities:

· Operate a CNC Lathe to machine parts to size

· Meet daily quotas and record daily progress on company software

· Work with other team members to complete daily work assignments

· Select feeds and speeds for various materials

· Use precision measuring instruments, comparator, data terminal, computer and calculator

· Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards

· Support, encourage, and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company

· Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes

· Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

· Must have knowledge of fundamental mathematics

· Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, or crouch

· Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

· Employee must be able to handle working in open garage warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
