Note : Benefit offerings may differ between union and non-union employee groups.Position PurposeProvide quality service and a full range of all administrative functions as they relate to the recording and record keeping of the Plant Assets of the UES Distribution and Transmission systems, having a working knowledge of Company procedures and practices.

Assignments must be completed in a professional manner.Principal AccountabilitiesTime % End Results65%Maintain internal records, work orders or required reports relating to the UES Distribution and Transmission systems.

Careful review of all construction related paperwork for accuray and proper recording of company assetts.Ensure the proper closure of all customer / company projects and blanket work while meeting Plant Accounting deadines.

Reviewing and maintaining Construction Authorization Log. Initiate CWO’s on a routine basis.Prepare Pole Licenses when necessary following individual Town and Company processes.

File and maintain records in an organized manner.25%%Perform GIS Map updates.Participate in circuit audits and circuit map updates.

10%Completion of special assignments as requested by Supervisor or Manager. QualificationsTwo year Business course or equivalent.

Job Posting2-3 years of similar office / utility experience .Working knowledge of Company Safety rules, Company Policies and the Company’s Tariff for Electric.

Project a positive and professional approach in all areas of responsibilities.Demonstrated reliability and flexibility.High degree of efficiency, organizational skills, pc skills and detail orientated.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of personal computers and software including : Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Power Point) as well as other business applications.

May require working other than the regularly scheduled hours.Must be available for duties during times of system emergencies.

Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license based on the requirements of the State where the employee resides.

HOURS : Hours shall be Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. WAGE : Ultimate rate - $32.97 per hour, for a 40 hour week.
