Compensation: $400-650 per case for average 30 minute debridement in the home
United Woundcare Institute is the country’s leading mobile wound care company with operations in 11 States.
This position is our lead Part-time Surgical Medical Director in our rapidly growing New York market and will be a critical part of our care delivery team.
Our company is dedicated to healing wounds and employs a unique multi-disciplinary model across care environments to do so. You will be responsible primarily for initial evaluation, debridement and treatment planning for patients in their homes throughout the five boroughs of New York and beyond .
You will also help oversee a team we are growing on Advanced Practice Providers who will execute treatment plans under your direction. You will be part of our elite medical group model practice, interacting with multi-disciplinary colleagues from across the country providing the country’s leading wound care.
Our model allows you to practice at the cutting edge of medical practice, utilizing advanced techniques including artificial, stem-cell and growth factor skin grafts which we will teach you to apply in the comfort of the patient’s living room.
You must be willing to be trained in advanced grafting and debridement techniques. You will be supported by a regional clinical and operations team and national clinical leadership who will oversee cases and assure extraordinary clinical quality.

Qualifications for this position:
Physicians degree in good standing
Medical license good standing in New York
Deep surgical experience, completion of General Surgery or Plastic Surgery residency a big plus
Ability to and willingness to travel to see patients in their homes throughout New York with expectation of about 3-5 visits a day
Experience in woundcare
Deep expertise in debridement and surgical management of wounds
Deep drive for greatness and to help build something amazing and do whatever it takes to succeed
