United Wholesale Mortgage is Hiring a Field Support Technician I Near Pontiac, MI

 

Our IT infrastructure team is looking to add a motivated Field Support Technician to assist us with our growing operations. In this role you will work in support of all areas of UWM IT operations. This is a great opportunity to grow your career within our IT division. You will expand your knowledge of IT asset management, IT Governance, software, hardware, project management, and how IT is applied to the mortgage origination process.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

  • Must be able to work Monday thru Friday, 11:00am to 8:00pm
  • 2 years of experience working in an IT technical support role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of desktop and network support including: Microsoft Office and Windows OS
  • Must be able to complete projects and tasks independently with limited direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
  • On-site attendance 

Preferred:

  • CompTIA or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience working in an Active Directory
  • Experience with Mac end-user-computer clients
  • Experience with Windows 10
  • Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree or equivalent experience

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provides the installation and/or upgrades of new hardware and software to the client environment, including but not limited to computers, laptops and printers
  • Move equipment during a move/add/change request.
  • Basic PC repair
  • Imaging PCs using SCCM
  • Troubleshoot end-user-computer software and hardware issues in a Microsoft environment
  • Printer installation and troubleshooting
  • Deliver our mortgage origination system to team desktops
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
