The finance manager is an integral member of the team and an asset to achieving these goals.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Prepare and monitor annual budget
· Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple programs
· Prepare quarterly reports for Board of Directors
· Maintain G/L, A/R, A/P, and monitor cash flow
· Prepare payroll and monitor benefit withholdings
· Reconcile bank accounts, inter-organization expenses and CRM software
· Prepare for the annual audit
· Assisting donors and vendors in having a great experience with us
· Help prepare reports, presentations, data, etc.
· Other misc. projects as needed
Qualifications:
· College education or at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience
· Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
· Knowledge of Quickbooks
· Knowledge of Excel
· Knowledge of accounting including general journal entries, accounts receivable & payables, and bank reconciliations
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
· Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Experience with Macros is a plus
· Experience with non-profit accounting is a plus (i.e. Statement of Functional Expenses)
· Willingness to learn and grow with the organization
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., during certain times of year extra hours may be required to meet deadlines
Salary: This is a full-time position—compensation is $60,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience.
