Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000 annually
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days work from home and 3 on-site.

United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Vice President, Business Solutionsto join our Operations team. As Vice President, Business Solutionsoversees the strategic direction of the business solutions to support the mission and work of UWM. Provides cross-discipline thought leadership and shares knowledge of transformational change management, and business process improvement.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes policies, best practices, and standards of data quality. Enables data integration and implements analytics solutions. Responsible for data governance that drives data-based decision-making, and identifies business opportunities and strategies. Drives to build a collaborative and data-literate culture
  • Collaborates with the executive leadership to meet strategic goals by supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems. Leads the implementation and support of Business Solutions Tools (BST), managing the corresponding budget, contract, policies, and procedures and enabling the Business Solutions Team to achieve the highest internal/external customer service standards.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials. Reviews the existing BST landscape, develops and maintains a roadmap for future technology solutions, and how those solutions complement/replace existing solutions. Provides guidance to leadership in prioritization of the initiatives.
  • Provides insights to improve internal and external user experience, leveraging best practices, integrating existing applications software, introducing newer technologies, creating process/program governance, and guiding stakeholders through innovation strategy, risk analysis, and resource optimization.
  • Ascertains applicative user acceptance of the BST by enabling direct relationships with software specialists/developers to support user needs.
  • Manages internal and external stakeholder alignment on strategic priority projects. Monitors business solutions compliance and provides periodic policies and procedures updates.
  • Supervises direct reports, facilitating training, developing/coaching, measuring performance, disciplining, and delegating/prioritizing tasks as needed. Has authority to hire, transfer, promote, compensate, or terminate subordinate employees or recommend such actions.

BST includes all application software, such as but not limited to: CRM systems, application databases, reporting, analytics and data visualization tools, eCommunity and email delivery platforms, business efficiency and program support technologies (i.e. RPA Robotic Process Automation). New hardware and systems (policies/processes) in support of the organization’s business needs.

Education Requirements: Master’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of five years experience in a related field

Technology Requirements: Functional knowledge of the Office 365 suite of applications, CRM database systems, reporting/analytics tools (i.e. MSAccess, Power BI, SQL), and RPA.

Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Must be a customer-centric, fiscally responsible, detail-oriented, results-driven, and strategic leader. Supervisory and leadership experience should include leading, engaging, assessing and hiring, growing quality and committed individuals. Experience in process improvement, software implementation, budgeting, contract and project management, data governance, and analysis is required. The Spanish language is not a requirement but helpful.
