The Loyalty & Personalization Analyst is primarily responsible for a blend of customer activity reporting, shopper segmentation and analysis, and rewards program financial reporting. He/she is responsible for building reports and ad hoc requests to manage and execute marketing programs, as well as overseeing the data integration between marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and produce recurring loyalty centric marketing and offer reporting and analytics, applying third party data, where available.
Work with the Manager of Loyalty and Personalization to identify segments and execute programs to positively impact sales and profits.
Prepare and analyze data to inform business decisions and improve understanding of customer and shopper behavior.
Develop customer segmentations, shopper insights and customer analysis to inform strategies that increase loyalty, sales and profits
Create and deploy web based web-based dashboards, reports and ad hoc analysis as needed by using data in the business intelligence system and presenting results in a clear manner.
Gather requirements, analyze, design, build marketing related queries and reports using SQL
Create and maintain maps of shoppers in proximity to store locations to identify shopper behavior and opportunities for shopper acquisition.
Work with business intelligence and marketing teams to integrate rewards member data in other marketing platforms.
Develop and maintain presentation material for management.
Manage own work to meet internal and external expectations.
Work in a collaborative team environment with various cross-functional areas
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Key Requirements:
Four year college degree or equivalent work experience
Must have strong computer and analytical skills
Must have a working knowledge of marketing campaigns and key metrics
Background in retail a plus
Experience working with SQL and Business Intelligence tools (experience with TeraData and Oracle Reporting tools a plus)
High degree of honesty and integrity, with the ability to maintain professionalism
Excellent problem solving skills to support complex and cross-functional projects spanning multiple technologies and disciplines
Strong collaborator and works well in a team environment
Strong problem solving skills, well organized, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to develop positive and efficient work relationships across all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently without supervision and effectively manage time
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
