The Financial Analyst is responsible for a blend of financial reporting, analysis, and store performance projection development. They are responsible for independently building financial reports and assisting with ad hoc requests as needed. They must be detail oriented and have critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities: Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance Complete ad hoc requests as needed by using and manipulating data in the financial systems Develops by store, by department, by account P&L Projections on a quarterly basis Complete routine financial reporting accurately and efficiently Work in a collaborative team environment with various cross-functional areas Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Key Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years related experience
Working knowledge of accounting and finance
Excellent computer and analytical skills
Computer skills including Excel, Access, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, OBIEE, and Lawson (all or some preferred)
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong collaborator and works well in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels across the organization
Must be sharp, deadline focused, and motivated with excellent communication skills
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
