Position Purpose

The duties of the rehab crew shall be to support the maintenance supervisor with facility maintenance. They shall perform building and grounds maintenance at all facilities. They shall work with upgrading, repairing and disposal. Report all major maintenance items to the maintenance department dispatch. Shall possess working knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Must have a valid driver’s license, organizational skills, be self-motivated, and able to work with little supervision. Ability to lift 100 pounds, travel overnight up to 4 nights a week, interpret, and follow instructions, and have no fear of heights.

Position Description – Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

• Cosmetic repairs, painting and power washing facilities.

• Remove and inventory facility equipment not in use.

• Repair interior and exterior facility problems to include items such as electrical outlets, water lines, bathroom fixtures, walls, floors, fences, facades, gutters, downspouts, and any other items deemed necessary to keep the facility running and in compliance.

• Perform building and grounds cleaning and maintenance at all facilities, this work may include climbing and heavy lifting.

• Support supervisor with continuous improvements, recommendations, and implementation.

• Maintain and organize maintenance vehicles and tools.

• Concrete work and asphalt patching.

• Minor roof repairs and landscaping.

• Consistently update and upgrade the company’s intranet site.

• Work on technology projects assigned to the I.T. department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe work behaviors.

• Proficient with the tools of the job. Special Position Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing.

• Work may be performed within extreme temperature ranges.

• Visual ability (uncorrected or corrected) to observe and detect signs of dangerous obstacles.

• Ability to erect and climb ladders and scaffolding.

Education

• High School diploma
