Position : MRI Technologist
$ 60/Hour , 13 Week Contract , 36 Hours /Week
Shift Info : 12 hour Varied
- 2 Years of Experience as MRI Technologist required.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification required
- ARRT(MRI) Certification required
- NM state or Compact License required
Job Description
- Instructs patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures; prepares, positions, and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate placement for imaging.
- *Selects appropriate imaging techniques, calibrates console and peripheral hardware, as required.*Obtains images, produces film records and backups from desk to storage media, and transfers from desk top work station.*Inspects for quality and completeness of exam.
- *Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and laser camera.
- *Performs physical inventories and maintains clinical supplies.
- *Ensures adherence to established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety standards, HIPAA and compliance regulations.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
- Radius rule of 75 miles will be applicable.
