The Lead Cook prepares wholesome and delicious meals in our scratch kitchen for older adults while bringing smiles to their faces through food.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents
- Collaborate with our team to create healthy and flavorful dishes
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
What it takes
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- HS Diploma/ GED required
- Culinary Education Preferred, not required
- ServSafe Certification Preferred, not required
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in the food service industry preferred but not required. On-the-job training provided
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
