Part Time Days and Evenings

United Methodist Communities in Camden County, a 5-Star full-service senior living community that is a model in person-centered care community, located in beautiful Collingswood, NJ is seeking a Driver.


The Driver will be responsible for scheduling and safely transporting residents to various locations in order to meet their medical and personal needs and accompany them outside of the community.

Requirements for a Driver:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with roads within county, etc.
  • Two years as a licensed driver with a current NJ driver's license without any moving violations.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license is preferred.

Responsibilities for a Driver:

  • Transport of residents to their appointments in a timely manner.
  • Assists residents with entering and/or exiting the vehicle.
  • Operates lift as necessary.
  • Transports residents to their appointments on time and returns to the community safely.
  • Assumes responsibility, if indicated, for carrying the resident's necessary information (i.e., medical files, address of physician, consult sheet, etc.)
  • Carries cell phone at all times.
  • Fills vehicle with gasoline when at half tank.
  • Checks vehicles to ensure that they are in safe working condition.
  • Assures that vehicles are clean and neat.
  • Advises Director of Community Life of any maintenance issues with the vehicles.
  • Maintains accurate record of mileage in vehicle logs.
  • Performs billing charge slips for transportation provided, and submits charge slips to billing office in a timely manner.
