United Living Water Limited provide a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs.Job DescriptionPurposeThis role will oversee the Management of Multiple Clean water -utility frameworks throughout the North East. Specific ResponsibilitiesAccountable for the successful management of frameworksManagement / Supervision and coaching of Site Managers to ensure effective running of operationsResponsible for overseeing operational and technical elements of multiple water utility frameworksResponsible for ensuring all projects are delivered within financial budget and tight time constraints with regular reports back to the Directors. This includes overseeing profit and loss accountsManagement of KPI’s and production of staffMonitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental issues, working closely with the SHEQ team to ensure safe delivery of works, updating on any issues and ensuring qualityResponsible for the management of subcontractors, plant, and materialsKey contact in liaising with the client and local authorities whilst conducting regular progress meetingsEffective monthly reporting to the Framework DirectorBuild relationships with key stakeholders and communicating relevant contractual information as requiredIdentify and implement opportunities/improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contractsLead on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as requiredProvide contract-related issue resolution to any arising disputes or escalations with suppliersEnsure that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policies and are auditable with crucial documents, information and communications confidentially storedComplete contract close-out, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal, and assisting procurement teams where applicable for re-procurementQualificationsCompetencies: Knowledge & ExperienceMust be an experiences Water Contracts Manager who can organise and manage the completion of site works, for delivery, from a SHEQ and commercial perspectiveShould have at least 5 years Management experience working on Water Utility Projects ideally for a main contractorExcellent knowledge of Utility Projects and legislation within the Utilities IndustryProfessional qualified with NRSWA Supervisor / SMSTS and NEBSOH / IOSH as a minimumProven track record of successful delivery from start to finishExcellent commercial and programming awarenessProficient in Microsoft Office PackagesFull UK driving licenceAdditional InformationBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionLife insurancePrivate medical insuranceWellness programmesAdditional Information:Must be highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data setsThis job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes OfficeOpportunity to spend time in and working closely with other departments will be provided to ensure the successful applicant gains a wide depth and breadth of experience and understanding of the company and industry
