Job Description: The Fence Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of selling, estimating, scheduling, and managing various types of fence projects. This role requires a combination of strong computer skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and leadership capabilities. The Fence Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales, ensuring efficient project execution, and fostering the growth of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek new fence job opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of potential projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their fencing needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Estimate project costs accurately for different types of fencing (black aluminum, vinyl, wood, chain link, etc.) using industry-standard tools and software.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules that include tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Conduct take-offs and accurately calculate materials needed for each project.
• Order materials in a timely manner to ensure project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead and manage a team of employees and subcontractors, facilitating the growth of their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or degrees are a plus).
• Previous experience in fence sales, estimation, project management, or related field.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe software, and Aspire software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
