United Contractor Services, LLC is hiring a Commercial Construction Outside Sales and Estimator to service our clients throughout the United States. The BDM is responsible for identifying and developing relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.

Our Team works commercial construction projects of all types and sizes such as warehouse distribution centers, retail, medical facilities, office buildings, schools, and libraries. We specialize in Commercial Drywall, Metal Studs, Acoustical Ceilings, EIFS, Stucco & Cultured Stone, Firestopping, Painting & Coatings, Claddings & Rain Screens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Surveying projects
• Estimating labor and materials costs
• Communicating financial cost and project timelines to customers
• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand United Contractor Services footprint and build top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas
• Attend trade shows and other associations' meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects
• Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the UCS management team
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with UCS estimators, project managers, and senior management team
• Travel as needed
• Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

• Outside sales and business development experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related is a plus.
• Able to read and comprehend blueprints, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Manage and follow project schedules.
• Must be a motivated and detailed oriented.
• Able to communicate with clients, sub-contractors, and employees in a professional manner.
• Must be able to use MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and CRM systems.
