Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00

Job Summary:

The 21st CCLC Teacher provides academic intervention/tutoring to groups of up to 10 students a at the 21st CCLC after school/camp days and summer program.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and implement integrated academic lessons with a strong STEAM emphasis that support the school day lessons and learning
  2. Create a classroom culture that encourages group thinking, curiosity and discovery
  3. Coordinate schedule with volunteers, agency partners and tutors
  4. Manage students’ behaviors
  5. Assess student progress and submit data to site coordinator
  6. Assist with family literacy activities as requested.
  7. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications


Education and Training:

  • Florida Teacher Certification (prefer elementary or ESE)

Minimum Experience/Skills:

  • Strong classroom management and organization
  • Experience working with students with and without disabilities in a classroom setting
  • Experience writing and completing lesson plans
  • Excellent oral communication skills
