Department: Operations
Reports to: Senior VP of Operations
works in a safe, efficient manner and that products are handled in a way that ensures our
customers receive their product on time and damage free. In addition to your team, you
will be responsible for effectively managing Kabinart’s finished goods (FG) warehouse.
- Oversee shipping and warehousing activities in a manner that allows us to safely meet customer expectations while delivering an on time, high quality product
- Ensure product handling, storage, and delivery practices meet company and customer expectations
- Assess efficiency and performance of Kabinart’s shipping and warehouse processes; identifies and recommends improvements
- Responsible for the coordination of loads, fulfillment rates, and FG inventory
- Create an environment that values employees, serves our customers and provides a fair return to the company
- Lead initiatives to achieve cost reduction, manufacturing efficiencies, and product quality improvements for operations
- Communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
- Allocate resources to efficiently and effectively utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly with a technical specialization
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and meet established deadlines
- Capable of building positive partnerships and working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams across all levels of the organization
- Ability to lead and develop people
- Experience with continuous improvement concepts such as lean and six sigma
- Prior wood product or building product experience is preferred
