• Teaches group singing with preschool-8th grade students.

• Teaches basic Photoshop skills, video skills, and editing skills with Premier Pro

• Films student and teacher activities.

• Manages a group of 5-8 students alone with ages ranging from pre-school to

• Edits various forms of school media: i.e., school yearbook, school flyers, tribal

• Constructs lesson plans and helps map out student activities for the week.

• Films and edits other departments’ projects.

Non-essential Functions

• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of VAPA standards and teaching strategies.

• Knowledge of 21st century skills.

• Knowledge of backward planning, lesson design, and mapping out VAPA.

• Ability to successfully manage a group of 5-8 children alone.

• Ability to learn in an assistant role.

• Ability to work with all ages between 5-15 years old.

• Ability to plan lessons and activities for students.

• Ability to complete and clear all background checks.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements

• Education: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential

• Classroom teaching experience with elementary/middle school

• VAPA experience and knowledge of 21st Century skills

• Camera and Filming experience

• Photoshop and Premier Pro experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Singing and/or playing instruments

• Drama and performing arts
