Job Description Job Description PURPOSEThe purpose of this position is to install, support and maintain the enterprise server environment. The Systems Administrator will perform tasks that include but are not limited to user security, new server installations, data backups, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system updates.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESOversees administration of Windows Server and Windows Active Directory users accounts and access permissionsGroup Policy Design, and AdministrationInstalls, configures and supports all of the following technologies:Virtualization and Storage Technologies (VMware, Tegile,, Pure)Citrix XenApp 6.5 Server, Netscaler and Citrix Access GatewayMicrosoft Exchange, Office 365Microsoft SQL server 2012, through current versionsCisco Bladecenter, Cisco HyperFlex and Cisco Servers/NutanixMaintains and manage DNS, DHCP, WINS, SNMP and NTP in a Windows environmentPerforms analysis, resolution and identify root cause of issuesAnalyzes system logs and utilize monitoring tools to identify potential issues with computing systemsPerforms monthly administration of security patching for servers and end user systems using Azure Patch AutomationGuides provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructureWorks cooperatively with others on a team to share information, resolve conflicts and make decisions in all aspects of information technology and/or network operationsCreates and maintain documentation of hardware/software, application, processes, and other related informationActs as the focal point for maintaining enterprise network and server security against attacks from outside agencies as well as from Virus attackResponds to end-user inquiries on the telephone, Teams and via emailPlans network and server upgrades in time windows that least impact productionCommunicates with vendors regarding application bugs and planned implementation schedules of application updatesSets goals and achieve measurable resultsContributes ideas to plans and achieving department goalsDemonstrates the Funds Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) principles in their conduct at work and contributes to a safe inclusive culture with equitable opportunities for success and career growthExemplifies the Funds BETTER Values in contributing to a respectful, trusting, and engaged culture of diversity and inclusionPerforms other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities and requirements of the jobPerforms Essential Job Functions and Duties with or without reasonable accommodationESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSYears of Experience and Knowledge5 ~ 7 years of direct experience in an IT environment3 Years of Direct Experience as a Systems AdministratorWorking knowledge and experience in working with Cisco Blade, HyperFlex and Single ServersIn depth knowledge of administration of Windows Server and Windows Active Directory (100 Servers)Thorough understanding of Virtualization and storage technologies (VMware, Pure , Tegile)Citrix XenApp Server, Netscaler or Citrix Access Gateway (Installation, Migration and Troubleshooting)Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 (600 Users)Security/patching with WSUS, Azure or other third party packagesDisaster recovery planning and testingKnowledge of SAN and network topologies (FC and OSI model)Experience maintaining and managing DNS, DHCP, WINS, SNMP and NTPTechnical knowledge of networking concepts TCP/IP, VPN, and VLANKnowledge of LAN/WAN environments, switches, firewalls, routers and wireless access pointsPossess knowledge in the following network concepts and technologies: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN and the OSI ModelSwitches, firewalls, router and wireless access points (Cisco, Fortinet)MPLS (BGP & OSPF protocol)Knowledge in the Healthcare industry a plusEducation, Licenses, and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience requiredCertification in MCSE or other certifications focusing on Windows infrastructure, design and maintenancePreferred: Valid, unrestricted state drivers licensePreferred: Personal vehicle, valid registration, and current insuranceSkills and AbilitiesIntermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)Advanced Level vMWare ESXi 7.xxAdvanced Level in Active DirectoryIntermediate Level: Backup of SystemsAbility to work in cramped quarters and awkward positions; ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 100 lbs.Ability to work at multiple campusesParticipate in an on-call rotationSalary range for this position: $72,600~$90,800. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week).
