About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Disaster Recovery Coordinator with strong skills in business continuity processes to join our team. As a key member of our IT managed services division, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to safeguard our clients' critical systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in disaster recovery coordination, business continuity planning, and a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Disaster Recovery Planning:

• Collaborate with clients to assess their business continuity needs and identify potential risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans tailored to each client's specific requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure plans remain current and effective.

Business Continuity Process Management:

• Oversee the development and maintenance of business continuity processes for both internal and client environments.
• Coordinate and conduct regular testing and drills to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans.
• Work closely with clients to integrate their business processes seamlessly into disaster recovery strategies.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential disruptions to IT systems.
• Implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall system resilience.

Incident Response and Recovery:

• Act as a point of contact during incidents, providing leadership and coordination of recovery efforts.
• Ensure timely and efficient restoration of critical systems to minimize downtime.

Training and Awareness:

• Develop and deliver training programs to educate internal teams and clients on disaster recovery procedures and best practices.
• Foster a culture of awareness and preparedness for potential disasters.

Qualifications: Preferred not Required

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Continuity, or related field.
• Proven experience in disaster recovery coordination within an IT managed services environment.
• Strong understanding of business continuity processes and principles.
• Want Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of IT systems, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification or willingness to get certified in relevant areas (e.g., CBCP, DRCP) is a plus.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience

* Business analysis, requirements and/or product ownership certifications preferred
