Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Financial Management
- Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition.
- Develop and monitor management cost reports, supporting strategic financial planning.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and handle the preparation and filing of taxes.
- Prepare, publish, and explain monthly financial statements to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received, managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and establish supplier policies, ensuring value and efficiency.
- Oversee bid issuance and evaluation, managing procurement and distribution activities to support operational needs.
- Streamline office operations, enhancing bookkeeping, information management, and clerical services.
- Leverage technology to boost office productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Identify and address training needs to facilitate skill development and knowledge sharing across departments.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Advanced degree in Accounting with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA or MBA preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in a controller role within a tech-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for precision.
