Job Title: Healthcare Controller

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 (based on experience, region, license, credentials, etc.)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Controller to join our dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in the United States, with our main office located in Los Angeles. As a Healthcare Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Manage and oversee full-cycle financial reporting processes.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data and ensure the accuracy of financial reports.

Auditing:

Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Coordinate external audits and work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Payroll Management:

Utilize healthcare payroll experience to oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy.

Collaborate with HR to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Contribute to the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

Compliance:

Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry regulations and ensure financial practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Controller Experience:

Utilize 3-5 years of controller experience to provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.

Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.

3-5 years of experience as a Controller in a healthcare setting.

Strong auditing experience and knowledge of internal controls.

Proven experience in full-cycle financial reporting.

Demonstrated expertise in healthcare payroll processes.

Excellent understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
