Union Metal Industries Corporation is Hiring a Crane Operator - 1st shift Near Canton, OH
1st shift 5:30 am - 4:00 pm; 2nd shift 4:00 pm - 2:30 am
Responsibilities
- Perform Daily shift Crane inspection
- Safely move material with the crane from one station to another
- Obey hook up rules and able to balance load while moving material
- Work with other employees on the floor during hook up
- Clean area at end of shift
- Other duties as assigned
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations (constant use of safety gear)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with a team and good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Crane, any other tool needed for the job
- Be able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
- Be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb and walk for extended periods of time
- Be able to work in all types of temperatures
- Be UMIC certified Crane Operator
- Pass DOT physical
- Be able to tolerate bouncing/vibration in the crane
- Have good mobility in neck and back
- Steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves and face shield, hard hat (when out of crane)
