Fitness Specialist PRN Details

Essential Job Duties :

• Facilitates internal communication between staff and Supervisor on fitness issues, problems, and programs, assisting in determining department priorities.
• Promotes a harmonious work environment, maintaining a positive attitude with both staff and members.
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to work in various capacities within the Fitness Center.
• Contributes to daily operations, including assisting with fitness programs, member retention, safety, and overall maintenance of the Fitness Center and equipment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, health, physical education, or recreation
• Ability to organize and instruct exercise programs.
• Minimum one year of fitness facility working experience.
• Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.

License / Certification :

• ACSM or ACE certification needed within six months of hire date.
• BLS CPR certification required.
