What you'll do
- Operate an industrial forklift, loading trucks SAFELY, promptly and accurately according to shipping documents using an e-tablet
- Perform daily maintenance checklist on forklifts
- Promote good customer relations by demonstrating a willingness to help, knowledge of the product, and a having a friendly attitude
- Participate in and assist with cycle counting throughout the year, as well as yearly full yard counts
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Perform daily yard responsibilities, working with the Yard Supervisor to maintain the efficient operation of the yard
What you need to succeed
- Must have at least 2 years of forklift experience and ability pass Unilock licensing test.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills with an attention to detail
- Team-oriented individual with a strong, self-directed work ethic in a fast past environment
- Professional and courteous behavior with a positive attitude in ALL situations.
- Basic computer skills using an e-tablet
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Requires consistent and reliable attendance
