Background & Purpose of the Job

As part of the Home Care North America Finance organization, the Associate Finance Manager – Business Partnering, will be at the forefront of our financial strategy, partnering closely with marketing and sales business partners and cross-functional teams to drive growth and profitability while aiding in decision-making processes.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Central to this role is the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and juggle multiple priorities with ease as you develop business cases and conduct scenario planning with your business partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Support the Development of Innovation Business Cases

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess new business opportunities and innovative projects. Analyze potential revenue streams, cost structures, and market trends to build comprehensive business cases that justify product investments. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making for these initiatives.


Financial Modeling and Scenario Analysis

  • Developing sophisticated financial models to assess various business scenarios and potential impact on the portfolio.
  • Conducting sensitivity analysis and stress testing to evaluate the impact of business decisions on financial performance and assist in robust risk mitigation strategies.

Strategic Planning

  • Contributing to the development of long-term strategic plans by providing financial expertise and insights. Evaluating investment opportunities, conducting scenario analysis, and assessing the financial implications of strategic initiatives.

Business Partnership

  • Building strong relationships across the business and with cross-functional partners to understand their financial needs and objectives.
  • Providing financial guidance and support to enable informed decision-making and drive business success.

Profitability Enhancement

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance profitability through cost optimization, pricing strategies, and revenue maximization efforts, collaborating with business partners to implement value-added initiatives.
  • Analyzing product and customer profitability to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted strategies to drive margin expansion and sustainable growth.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 6 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
  • Prior CPG experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Location and Travel:

Preferred Location: Unilever North America HQ (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) or Seventh Generation HQ (Burlington, VT)

Open to Remote Work: Yes (based in Northeast preferrable)

Willingness to Travel: 20% of the time

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
