Position Summary: Under general direction, the Senior Director, National Account Sales is responsible for but not limited to providing sales management and leadership to the national account sales team. This role serves as a sales leader accountable to deliver new national account revenue growth opportunities to the enterprise. Needs to have the ability to present our differentiated value proposition to customer purchasing experts and agent members, compelling the customer to purchase UniGroup services. Additional responsibilities include providing proactive strategic leadership to agent members to drive profitable revenue growth and increase market share. Provide agent member support for national account business development. Consistently and expertly communicate UniGroup’s sales strategy to the members. The work location for this role is flexible if approved by UniGroup except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado and California. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports agent members in developing and selling new customer relationships that fulfill enterprise business strategies. Develops and maintains opportunity pipeline that supports business revenue growth targets. Creates, develops, and conducts sales presentations to customers and agent members. Negotiates contracts and agreements and support agent members in these activities. Presents, closes and supports agent members on price increase actions. Facilities customer service resolution actions as needed. Provides effective sales management leadership. Achieves/exceeds profit/loss financial goals/objectives per the UniGroup Sales business plan. Manages to pre-determined budget constraints (G&A), to effectively facilitate long range plan and business growth expectations. Functions in a sales management capacity supporting agent members while generating increased profitable transportation revenue. Provides/directs consultative sales support to agent member’s sales efforts. Provides strategic support on day-to-day agent member inquiries and work as liaison with Claims, Finance, Operations, and other departments in addressing agent member and/or customer needs. Identifies internal and external resources to service agent members’ information needs. Identifies and develops partnership opportunities with potential to contribute to enterprise sales objectives. Develops, implements, and continually monitors employee career development. Qualifications: Education, License or Certification: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience. Experience: 8 years of business experience; 2 years in a management capacity. Thorough knowledge of the moving industry; direct and third-party distribution experience. Proficient in contract procedures and processing; sales with corporate/national transportation industry accounts. Relocation Management Company (RMC) sales experience strongly preferred.
