This position is for a summer internship for a graduate or undergraduate student in an accredited mechanical engineering program. Candidate must have a knowledge of heat transfer and experience in building mathematical models and numerical methods. The intern will be tasked with the following items: Develop transient heat flow model for simulating heat transfer in automotive batteries Perform laboratory testing to correlate model predictions with testing data Analyze testing data and report on findings Work with engineering team to develop intuitive outputs to describe modeling predictions Develop presentations analyzing testing results and modeling performance If you are interested in being part of a world class organization here at Alkegen then we would love to hear from you.
