Overview:
The Uniform Connection is a well-established uniform company in Lakeland, Florida that has been in business for over 33 years. The Uniform Connection supplies uniforms to healthcare, schools, restaurants, private businesses, and sports teams. We’re looking for motivated, self-starting salespeople that are enthusiastic, outgoing and have a positive attitude. Our new salespeople will be able to work well with all other members of the team. You will be measured on your ability to create exemplary customer service and new sales. All salespeople will need to understand the importance of every customer - the customer’s in-store experience and the customer’s repeat visits.
Responsibilities:
· Punctual, on time, reliable.
· Dressed and groomed professionally for every shift.
· Must continually work on improving product knowledge and understanding of product features and benefits.
· Must be able to easily and confidently share product knowledge and features and benefits with the customers.
· Must have ability to greet and engage all customers, adapting the sales approach and service to the needs of the customer.
· Motivated self-starter - after completing work assignments, look around to see what else can be done.
· This job will include actively working with garments, including receiving, ticketing, stocking, replenishing, folding, hanging, merchandising, cleaning, and displaying.
· Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting boxes, cleaning, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
Qualifications:
· 1 to 3 years retail experience preferred.
· Flexible schedule. (The Uniform Connection is open Monday through Friday 10 am till 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am till 3 pm and closed on Sundays and Holidays.)
· High energy, self-starter, motivated to be the best, to do a great job, to excel.
· Outgoing, helpful, must be able to make eye direct eye contact and verbally communicate with ALL customers.
· Must understand the need to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and service. Must be passionate about extraordinary customer service.
· Pay and schedule will be determined by the salesperson’s ability to suggestively sell complementary items to build sales.
Pay:
· Will be commensurate with experience.
