Job description
We are a private Obstetrics and Gynecology office with multiple location throughout central Florida, looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant. Our office is growing, and looking to add another dynamic personality to our team.
Job Responsibilities:
-Proper patient intake
-Collect vitals and draw blood
-Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
-Prepare and restock procedure rooms, lab areas and exam rooms
-Sterilize medical instruments
-Greet patients when entering waiting area and exam room
-Provide accurate and thorough information for patient education
-Administer patient vitals and collect medical history
-Ability to stay levelheaded in a fast-paced environment
-Collect laboratory specimens
-Respond to patient inquires and clinical phone calls promptly
-Administer and assist with procedures and patient appointments
Qualifications & Skills:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Medical Assistant Certification
-Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification and MA certification
-OB/GYN experience is a preferred
-EMR experience is required Athena Health is preferred
-Excellent verbal and written skills
-Exceptional customer services skills
-Bilingual is a PLUS!
-Attention to detail is a must
-Work as a team player and keep a positive & friendly attitude
Salary :
-Competitive salary based on experience
