Unified Group Services Inc is Hiring a Wellness Strategist Near Anderson, IN
Unified Group Services is a full-service third-party administrator (TPA) for self-insured group health plans. We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and the flexibility our customers desire in administering employee benefit plans. Job SummaryUnified Group Services' Wellness Strategist reports to the Director of Account Management. This person works to provide appropriate health and well-being solutions and opportunities for Unified's employees and their customers. Internal Duties
Lead Unified's Wellness Committee and their initiative to raise awareness and engagement with employees to create a health-minded culture.
Work with community resources to develop and maintain year-round community wellness fundraisers.
Act as Unified and the Grace in Motion wellness program liaison.
Coordinate onsite biometric screenings and additional services for Unified Group Services' employees through the employee near-site clinic.
Serve on the Safety Committee to help develop safe work practices, reduce the risk of workplace injuries and illnesses, and make health and safety an integral part of Unified's operating procedures.
External Duties
Partner with employer groups to drive progressive thinking to understand their current strategy and health risks.
Deliver unique and customized wellness and population health solutions/recommendations to address risks within each population.
Understand the wellness vendor market and collaborate with Unified's partners to meet the expectations of each employer group.
Support employer groups through the implementation process and engage with them continuously to ensure expectations are being reached.
Link additional benefits, environmental health and safety, Employee Assistance Programs, and onsite or near-site facilities with other vendors.
Develop and deliver multiple modes of communication and presentations related to customer-specific programs to convey appropriately.
Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
Serve on the Customer Experience Team to ensure that Unified's customer and member experience is the best it can be.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in health promotion/management, community health, exercise science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
At least two years of health programming experience or any combination of education, experience, and training as defined by HIPAA preferred.
Nationally recognized certification in health and wellness preferred.
Maintain wellness certifications and credentials.
Ability to use computers with Windows-based business software applications.
Ability to draft, proofread, and construct professional documents and present correspondence, both written and oral, in a professional manner.
Ability to stand for long hours.
This is an onsite position.
Some travel is required.
Pay Basis: Hourly Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. BenefitsUnified offers an excellent benefits package, including:
