Position- IT Operations Research Analyst
Location- Fort Worth, TX Hybrid Role
Contract on w2 only Local's
Job Description:
We've been seeing a lot of Data Scientists and Data/Software Engineers; we're seeking candidates with mathematical optimization experience who can speak to creating models that solve problems for resource allocation.We're no longer accepting candidates who require Java training or are not local/willing to relocate.

-Must be local to Dallas (preferred) or Phoenix -Must be skilled in mathematical optimization and Java; Azure and SQL also highly preferred -Must have knowledge of IBM Cplex, Gurobi, or Fico xpress (preferred as this is what AA uses) -Must have a graduate degree, such as in Industrial Engineering

Master s/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
2 years of experience with Java and commercial solvers (FICO Xpress, CPLEX, Gurobi)
2 years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using MIP and heuristics
2 years of experience in a technical professional environment
Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment
Ability to work 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) onsite in Dallas (preferred) or Phoenix

Candidates must be able to write code in Java (not Python). They need to be familiar with at least 1 optimization language (IBM CPLEX, GUROBI, or FICO Xpress. FICO Xpress is preferred). Please withdraw candidates that do not meet these requirements.
