Position: Tire Sales Manager

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established global tire wholesaler that imports and exports tires worldwide. Reporting directly to the owner, we are looking for a candidate who has a background in the tire industry so previous experience is a pre-requisite, as is a proven sales ability. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new accounts while maintaining relations and communication with existing key accounts.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals as assigned by the company president.
• Analyze and document assigned customers’ needs and create benefit solutions for the account that will maximize the account’s success.
• Develop and maintain existing customers by developing and implementing an annual sales and marketing plan.
• Maximize sales opportunities through sales calls (primarily personal visits and some telephone calls).
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products (new and existing), policies, and merchandising information to effectively serve dealers.
• Monitor and communicate competitive information including pricing, policies, and marketing strategies, and relate information to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional image including appearance/dress as well as a clean and organized vehicle, attend local and regional trade events to gather market intelligence from customers, competitors, and vendors, accomplish sales and business plan execution, customer retention, and new business development

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in the tire industry with container sales
• Proven track record in PCR & TBR sales
• Achievement of unit sales targets
• Target and development of new business relationships
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close sales
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bilingual: English and Mandarin

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
