Description

Unica Enterprises LLC (Unica) seeks qualified Janitorial Staff to join our team at the City of Arlington Recreation Center Sites in Arlington, Texas. After-hours cleaning will consist of maintaining Parks and Recreations. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, and countertops), replenish supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
• Perform periodic floor care such as carpet extraction, strip and wax, buffing, scrubbing, etc.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms, lobbies, and hallways.
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
• Ensure the highest standards of conduct, appearance, performance, and training are being always met.

Requirements

• 1 year previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers 
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and meet E-Verify requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Must be available to work from 11PM – 4AM

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
