Our global-diversified manufacturing company near Baltimore MD is in search of a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager plans, directs and coordinates the operations of a specific location in the organization. Manages utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources is needed.
The essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:
· Handle all financial elements for the plant, including labor, material and overhead.
· Prepare and deliver an accurate yearly budget.
· Oversee all personnel actions and ensure they are handled in accordance to policy
Education and Experience:
· Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
· Equivalent to 10 years increasingly responsible experience in all aspects of manufacturing facility management required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
