Supporting Legal Operations and Technical Staff
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in offering legal, administrative, and clerical support to attorneys and technical staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and organizing information, both electronically and in hard copies, to ensure the smooth functioning of division operations.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass general administrative tasks such as answering phones and processing mail, alongside case-specific responsibilities like tracking activities, maintaining databases, and preparing legal documents. Additionally, you will be expected to become a Subject Matter Expert in IT capabilities within the organization and support Commission cases and projects through research and reporting.
RequirementsTo excel in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills, time management abilities, and communication proficiency. Being detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments concurrently is crucial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint, and knowledge of the Agency's Microsoft Dynamics system are essential. A high school diploma is a requirement, with some college or vocational training and at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
