Position : Marketing Agent (Freight Broker)

Location : Citrus Heights, CA

Employment Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Compensation : $21.00 per hour

Job Overview :

As a Marketing Agent specializing in freight brokerage, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base through strategic sales and B2B marketing efforts.

This position requires a proactive approach to building relationships with potential clients and carriers, ensuring efficient and effective freight services in line with company and government regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain a robust client base through B2B sales efforts.
• Coordinate and plan logistics for pick-up and delivery schedules to optimize operations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers, providing updates and addressing inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage multiple delivery tasks, handle spot requests, and devise innovative sales strategies to enhance business growth.
• Swiftly resolve discrepancies and challenges in freight operations.
• Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and carriers.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with carriers to maximize profitability and compliance.
• Identify and engage with qualified carriers for freight services.

Qualifications and Skills :

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or a similar role, with a strong focus on sales and client relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive B2B sales and expand client networks.
• Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in negotiation and strategic problem solving.
• Experience with CRM programs is highly desirable
