Job Description
One (1) year of full time professional-level human resources experience within a public sector government agency Human Resources department and includes primary responsibility in one or more of the following areas :
recommending organizational realignment and / or developing new classifications.
Administering comprehensive employee benefit programs and plans, including analysis / management of medical, dental, vision, and other benefit plans and health and wellness programs;
leaves management; vendor liaison and contract administration; and researching, interpreting and applying Federal and State laws pertaining to employee benefits.
making presentations to new employees, other formal bodies, and the public.
Employee relations / modified duty coordination, including conducting Interactive Accommodation Process (IAP) meetings;
implementing temporary assignments; modifying jobs to accommodate occupational and non-occupational employee injuries / illnesses.
