Ultimate Staffing is recruiting for a Wills & Estates Legal Assistant for a Legal Office located in Hartford, CT. This is a direct hire opportunity looking to pay between $60-65K. Qualified candidates will have 1 years of Wills & Estates experience! Apply today!

Responsibilities

• Managing the file opening process for the team
• Being the first point of contact for any administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, anticipating the teams needs where possible
• Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required
• Drafting and formatting of letters, documents, and forms
• Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing
• Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners

Qualifications

• Experienced Legal Assistant (1 year in a similar role)
• Able to commute to Hartford CT
• Experience of working for partners and fee earners in a Commercial environment
• Wills & Estates experience
• Knowledge of Connecticut's Civil Procedure
• Time Entry and Legal Billing Experience (E-Filing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
