Position Summary:
The Order Intake Coordinator is responsible for processing all patient-related paperwork for the sales team. This includes processing faxes received, incoming referrals and data entry. This position coordinates and maintains the order completion process to ensure service levels and insurance requirements are met. This position involves high volume data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. In addition, this role will also help our Reimbursement Benefit team with verifying patient DME coverage (logging into payer portals with some calls to payers if no portal available).
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing internal administrative support for the Sales Team
* Enter New Patients received from Clinics or Sales Representatives into Database
* Conduct clinic outreach for missing referral information.
* Process all order related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner ensuring service levels are met
* Ensure paperwork meets payer requirements and standards.
* Ensure regulatory requirements such as HIPPA are followed, and incidents reported to Supervisor
* Attend monthly required meetings such as, 1:1's with Supervisors, Department Meetings, Stretch meetings and Company Town Halls
* Assist with overtime requests from Supervisors.
* Other duties as assigned such as database clean up, cross-departmental assistance, and database testing but not limited to
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
* Associate degree or equivalent (2 years data entry experience).
* Typing /Data Entry speed and accuracy important
* Computer skills & working remote - Teams, Outlook, learning our patient info system.
* Targeting candidates with high attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking, speed, comfortable reaching out for help when needed
* Excellent attendance must work the hours per schedule.
* Data entry background preferred.
* DME (durable medical equip.) /insurance/healthcare reimbursement background preferred.
* Self-starter with excellent attendance and able to work the hours stated.
