Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Register patients according to established protocols.
• Verify insurance information and eligibility.
• Update and maintain patient records.
• Collect co-pays and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
